Dr. Muradov has administered thousands of Vitamin Cocktail treatments since 2010.
Most commonly Dr Muradov uses this as a primary treatment for boosting energy in patients idiopathic fatigue.
However, even relatively healthy patients have frequently chosen to receive periodic treatments because it seems to enhance their overall well being.
For the first 5 years of practice, Dr. Muradov exclusively offered Vitamin Cocktails in their original concentrated format - has seen tremendous results in a large range of health conditions other than fatigue.
Since 2016, the Naturopaths at TruMed developed a "jacked up" Vitamin Cocktail with stronger doses, and a large range of available nutrients for our Edmonton patients.
Patients frequently follow the Vitamin Cocktail with a drip of Glutathione.
The Vitamin Cocktail can also be combined with NAD+ for an even more profound effect on fatigue.

Dr. Muradov usually suggests a Vitamin Cocktail once weekly for 3-4 weeks to improve energy.
The initial effect is usually within 24 hours and the first lasts 3-5 days.
Subsequent treatments last longer and longer. Our goal is for patients to only need an occasional booster to maintain the effect.
Dr. Muradov has always felt the Vitamin Therapy needed to be kept true to its original formulation.
Therefore, our office has always maintained the Cocktail as an extremely concentrated, short volume treatment that is relatively quickly administered.
The goal is to achieve high peak serum concentrations of nutrients and so that nutrients can be taken up against less of a concentration gradient.
10 - 15 minute administration time is typical
The composition of the Vitamin Therapy is relatively simple: principally B Vitamins, Magnesium and Vitamin C.
But in this simplicity lies it's beauty: there are only nine water soluble vitamins: vitamin C and the eight B vitamins and the only B Vitamin that is not given is biotin.
With regards to fatigue, B vitamins are involved in every aspect of generating energy within cells and deficiency in any one of the B vitamins will negatively affect energy production.
And the Vitamin Cocktail allows for rapid repletion of all of the B Vitamins and Magnesium and can frequently improve energy because of this.

Vitamin Cocktail - What are the Side Effects?
As mentioned above, Dr.Muradov has administered thousands of Vitamin Cocktail treatments and the incidence of side effects is extremely low.
Most commonly, because of the high concentration of the treatment, some feel discomfort at the site - a strong pressure.
The magnesium content which dilates blood vessels causes a warming sensation and possibly lightheadedness if administered too rapidly.
Rarely, sensitive patients can feel more tired the following day after treatment.

How many treatments do I need?
The Vitamin Cocktail Therapy is usually given 1x weekly for about 4 weeks.
Generally, the interval between treatments can be gradually increased, and eventually the treatments are no longer necessary.
However, occasionally, other patients require regular Vitamin Therapy treatments (for example 1x every 4-8 weeks) for an indefinite period of time in order to control their medical problems.
Although many patients feel better after their first Vitamin Therapy treatment, in some cases it takes 3-4 treatments for the effects to full manifest.
Therefore, we frequently recommend a series of at least 3 treatments before re-evaluating the treatment plan.
